I received my PhD from the Department of Astrophysics & Cosmology, S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata in January 2014. From 2012 to 2014, I worked as a Project Scientist at the Indian Centre for Space Physics, Kolkata. From April 2014 to September 2015, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Engineering & Informatics, The University of Electro-Communication, Tokyo, Japan. From 2018 to 2019, I was a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, University of Calcutta. Currently, I am working at Srikrishna College (Govt. Sponsored, affiliated to University of Kalyani, West Bengal) as an Assistant Professor in Physics. I received several prestigious awards/fellowships, including the SIRE Fellowship (2022), SERB Start-up Research Grant (2020-2022); the UGC-Dr. D. S. Kothari Fellowship (2018-21); Outstanding Paper Award in the 3rd Regional Science and Technology Congress, WBDSTBT, 2018; The URSI (International Radio Science Union) Young Scientist Award (2015); The Roland-Schlich Travel Grant Award for Young Researcher from the EGU (2019); the University Medal for 1st rank in Master of Science (2009), Travel Grant awards from the SERB, CSIR and COSPAR. I am also working as a Guest Teacher at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, University of Calcutta from 2020. Further, I am associated with the Near-Earth Space and Atmospheric Observatory (NESAO) aiming to establish a network of ground-based observatory for monitoring the atmosphere and ionosphere in the eastern part of India.
